Styles P's mothers origin (African not Persian?)
[edit]Why does the article say his mother is Persian, when he says on the "Gangster and A Gentleman" Album on the title track that she is from Africa. He also mentions this on "My Life" featuring Akon, which was released on mixtapes and is available on Youtube. I think this should be changed! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.192.46.91 (talk) 11:08, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Styles P Image
[edit]The article is really looking good thus far, but it needs a good image to accompany it. Let's try to get a suitable one for the top section of the page ...
Hmm
[edit]Styles is not only the best Rapper in The L.O.X. but he's one of the best Rappers of the 2000s, the King of Yonkers. 50 Cent should fucking die for holding his album back. Also, for some reason it really bothers me when people refer to him as "Styles P"... He dropped his first album using the name "Styles" only; which seems to me like that's what he'd preferred to be called.--Tainted Drifter 07:31, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
if thats what he preferred to be called, then thats what his name would be. but its not. he commonly abbreviates his name to just "p", and goes by the full name styles p on all of his many mixtapes and his most recent two albums. p is an initial for paniro, a combination of Pacino and DeNiro, he often explains this is many tracks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.198.130.84 (talk) 00:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- I hope it doesnt say he's the best lox rapper. his whole rap name has like styles something panerio, i dunno, i guess whatever most people call him should be what the article is called.

What the fuck happened to this article?
[edit]I wrote the bulk of this article back in early 2006, then I stepped back and said: let's see what happens when you release this in the wild, and let the wikipedia group continue to work on it. I come back 7 months later, and the thing looks like a fucking piece of shit. No one is editing shit -- the original section divisions have been bastardized. There is too much repetitive information in the article (which fucking idiot mentions December 19th release date 4 times? 4 fucking times?) Also, the thing is reading like a fucking press release rather than a wikipedia entry. WIKIPEDIA IS FOR SERVING UP INFORMATION, NOT FOR FUCKING HYPE MACHINES. I'm not bothering touching this shit anymore. Too much shit you do on Wikipedia goes to crack-ass shit if you aren't constantly monitoring it, and who the fuck has time to do that if you have a real life / job / pursuits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.14.157.222 (talk) 17:11, 30 November, 2006 (UTC)
My final advice to someone with more time than I:
- Clean up the Time is Money section SUBSTANTIALLY. It needs the most work
- Expand the 'Conflict on Interscope', keep up the deep insight/analysis tone.
- More info on mixtape history
- New section on move of Styles P and the rest of LOX to Kochee
- Organize the sections in a semi-chronological fashion
- Source your shit.
Good luck —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.14.157.222 (talk) 17:14, 30 November, 2006 (UTC)
Hey you know a lot of Styles so you should continue to write and get that information out there. I am going to try to edit as much information as i can if you also edit it and improve the credibility of the page.~Poobs 1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Poobs1 (talk • contribs) 15:29, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
This article reads very poorly, like a teen wrote it. For example, all the dates fail to specify the year, which makes them useless. Please do better; Ghost deserves better than this. Arqueware (talk) 19:39, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Styles and D-Block beef somewhat unresolved
[edit]Edited the final sentence of the Current Disputes section where it was stated Styles P and 50 Cent had made peace during the Hot 97 Angie Martinez Radio Show. The conversation went awkwardly and finished somewhat unresolved with neither rapper really conceding anything or definitively "squashing" any beef. Though to be certain both seemed to have tried initially, the feelings of most listeners I've read/spoken with is that nothing productive came from the conversation (which can be found at YouTube with keyword searches for Hot 97 or Styles P and 50 Cent). "Kill that faggot"
[edit]Apparently Styles P has a song called "Kill that faggot."
Why isn't this mentioned in the article? --DrBat 02:44, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
why the hell would it be? he has 1000s of songs, why would you mention one random song that has never received airplay or been released on any full length album? unless you're insinuating that styles p is homophobic, which has nothing to do with the song. he only uses the word faggot as an insult, the song has nothing to do with homosexuals. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.198.130.84 (talk) 16:19, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Bad external link
[edit]"The new Styles P site" is a dud. www.stylesptheghost.com just leads you to a GoDaddy parked domain. 68.229.184.37 19:12, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
video game credits
[edit]I don't know if this is worth putting in the article but Styles P (along with Sheek) is credited as the voice of one of the dealers in the video game The Warriors.68.164.85.143 (talk) 05:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
