"Sim games" vs. "The Sims games"

[edit]

I want clarify that there is a difference between "Sim games" and "The Sims games." "Sim games" refers to all games with "Sim" in their title, which is what this article, list of Sim games, refers to. "The Sims games" refers to list of The Sims games, which are games related to The Sims series only, which include expansions and console or other offshoots of The Sims and The Sims 2. --theSpectator talk 22:40, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

With the existance of list of The Sims games we don't need it duplicated in here - Turk brown 12:36, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Sims series should be included, even though the other list exists. If a user wants to know all the list of games with "Sim" in their title, then they can easily see it all on one page here, rather than having to click the link to another list. --theSpectator talk 20:58, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, as I said in Talk:List of The Sims games, bullets only need to be one bullet deep, if they're not coming off of another item. They're simply listed under a heading, so the list should start as one bullet. You'd only need to make it more than one bullet when there's an expansion (e.g. Sim City 4: Rush Hour is an expansion for Sim City 4). --theSpectator talk 21:12, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Last response, heh: What is the ordering of "Other Sim games"? Is it by release date? If not, should it be ordered like that, or perhaps alphabetically? --theSpectator talk 21:16, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I re-added The Sims/Sims 2 series list because this "List of Sim games" should be complete and comprehensive, not be a partial list and force readers to wikilink to another list within this list. --theSpectator talk 19:18, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline Inaccuracies

[edit]

The timeline is titled "Timeline of Maxis Sim games", yet it includes "SimCity Societies", which was not developed by maxis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.97.162.21 (talk) 20:18, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lamas?

[edit]

There is a huge level of lamas in all the sims games. is there an explanation for this? signed by: I can't sign at this time, somehow the computer can't let me sign. can somone sign it for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ferrariguy1000 (talkcontribs) 19:04, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like there's two things written under 2009, thus two game names written in the same space? Super sloppy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.186.96.238 (talk) 07:37, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SimMania for Kids

[edit]

You're missing one of the SimMania packs.

This pack included SimTown, SimPark, SimSafari, SimTunes, Widget Workshop, and SimAnt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.119.50.105 (talk) 07:32, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Celebs on Sims

[edit]

Do you think it's important to include info on the diffrent celebs there are on Sims? I saw they had MJ, on there and a whole lot of others. I was reading some comments and some people said you can get it off the official, site. SUPER SONIC BABY 2 (talk) 15:05, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Should Spore be included?

[edit]

Spore is a "simulation" game, but it does not have the term "Sim" itself in the title, nor does the Wikipedia article for Spore mention the Sim line. So, should it really be included in this list? There is already a separate article for List of Maxis games, so I don't see the need to include it here. -- DrDoog (talk) 13:31, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
