Sources
[edit]Per the recent PROD of the article, here is a list of sources which I intend to integrate into the article, which should establish notability of the topic. It may be appropriate to move the article from the name "Lisa Irwin" (implying a BLP) to something like "Kidnapping of Lisa Irwin" (implying coverage of the event itself). However, I'm not sure what title in the vein would be most appropriate. Any suggestions would be appreciated. — Jess· Δ♥ 18:19, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

More impartial info, copyedit
[edit]We need more info which discusses the events in this case impartially, without either implicating or not-implicating someone in the crime. Unfortunately, all our refs do that poorly. We also need a copyedit of the article so that it flows, and doesn't draw its own conclusions. I've tried to simply pack as much info from reliable sources into the article as possible, but there may be implications based on its current structure. If anyone could go through it and copyedit, that would be great. — Jess· Δ♥ 20:12, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
Pronouns
[edit]The first paragraph in the "Events" section refers to Deborah Bradley, but then uses "he" and "him" and other masculine pronouns throughout the rest of the paragraph. Is Deborah truly the antecedent, or is it supposed to be someone else? I assume the latter, but I'm not very familiar with this. Either way, the way this currently reads is a little confusing. Kevinbrogers (talk) 00:06, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
- Those should probably read "she". I wrote the present article (not being familiar with the story), and came across news stories which referred to "Bradley" and "Irwin". It was my presumption that all members of the family had the last name "Irwin", and "Bradley" sounded like a male first name to me. Apparently that's wrong - it's Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin. Anyway, if there are any other mistakes, please do correct them. — Jess· Δ♥ 01:00, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
Moving page
[edit]Should this page be moved to "Disappearance of Lisa Irwin"? Isn't that usually how missing person articles are titled? I'm not sure how to petition this the right way. If someone could help me, I would be extremely grateful. Also, I created other pages with alternative names like "Baby Lisa" and "Deborah Bradley". How would these pages need to be changed if this page changes? Amn12 (talk) 09:49, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

- Support I do have a question though: what happens to the other pages I've created that redirect to Lisa Irwin? Do I need to change them or will they go (for example) Deborah Bradley>Lisa Irwin>Disappearance of Lisa Irwin?Amn12 (talk) 05:50, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Rules - hoping for some help
[edit]I've made several pages that redirect to Lisa Irwin. Should I make more? I have the names of all of her relatives, and I was thinking about creating the pages and making them redirect here also. What is the policy on this? How much is too much? And if someone could please answer my question in the section above, it would be much appreciated. Amn12 (talk) 03:21, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
