State Legislature
[edit]The article claims that in 1970 he was elected as a State Senator and in 1972 as an Assemblyman. While not impossible, I find this downgrade highly unlikely, does anyone know anything about this? --Cjs56 19:02, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- 1972 the senate and assembly districts were redrawn, and LaFalce's district was probably cut up. The senate districts have been gerrymandered ever since 1972 by the Republican majority to favor their own party. The Democratic assembly majority gerrymandered the assembly districts to favor their own, and LaFalce took possession of an assembly district to continue his political career. Pronunciation
[edit]Was his name pronounced roughly the Italian way or differently?
