what is the purpose of this page other than citing "Civilizations, Empires, and Wars: A Quantitative History of War"? also quality of the aforementioned work seems to be really poor, i really wonder what author meant by stating that Persia was "great power" from 1400 to 1450, did he meant Timurids? Mongol Empire lasting till 1450? Lithuania being "great power" (by whatever criteria he used) by 1450? i guess if you consider duke of Lithuania also being ruler of Poland.
