Research needed.
[edit]Much of the what has been started here requires more research. The history section should be easy to expand. Some of the other sections are harder to document. On some of them I have references that I have unfortunately mislaid. In any event, I hope this will provide a useful framework for elaboration.

Pan-Grebo Tribalism
[edit]A recent edit by anonymous user 12.22.148.130 added:
A tribe is not a point but a wide piece of land area. The Americo-Liberins who could only travel by boat met only those in the sea coast are and then oncluded on seaside grebo. Now people are well informed about the tribe of grebo. This notion of only people on the sea coast are known to be grebo, it has hurt the unity of the tribe. the other note, grand Kru consists of about three or four tribes of grebo, River Gee and Maryland coutnties are all grebo.
Besides being unencyclopedic, POV, and all the rest, it does make the point that there are centripetal, as well as centrifugal attitudes in play here. I will try to digest this point and insert it into the proper section of the article. --Ziusudra 21:05, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
