How thick is the thick bleach CF other bleaches?--Light current 22:07, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Available chlorine levels

[edit]

Its power is due to its high availability of chlorine (nominally 500,000 ppm, compared with 50,000 or less for other domestic bleaches}.

This is quite doubtful. Pure sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate (the active ingredient in chlorine-containing brands of Domestos) has an available chlorine content of some 43% (which equals 430,000 ppm). That would mean, that Domestos (a thickened and fragranced alkaline solution of sodium hypochlorite) is more concentrated than its active ingredient. Some solid shock chlorinating agents for pools, based on sodium dichloroisocyanurate or calcium hypochlorite have available chlorine levels in order of 50%/500,000 ppm. This assertion should be checked and corrected. Cheers, --93.192.169.26 (talk) 03:22, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"contains CTAC (TM)" (+ "Pink Power")

[edit]

Anyone any notion what "contains CTAC (TM)" is thought to mean? (Chlorine-based Toilet Amenity Composition" for example? - or does it actually have an actual meaning?)

Also "Pink Power"? A reverse-Yorkie designation? ie indicating that women are permitted to use it? (or, better, that women have authority to choose to have someone else use it?) Or something to do with perfume etc?)
