Title change
[edit]Most importantly, the previous title, 5,N-Dimethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine does not follow Wikipedia's Concision guidelines (it is longer than necessary "to identify the topic to a person familiar with the general subject area".
In addition, it does not follow the following guidelines from the top five article title guidelines:
- Recognizability: those who are not experts in the field may recognize 5-Me-MiPT but not 5,N-Dimethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine
- Naturalness: people will search for 5-Me-MiPT, not 5,N-Dimethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine
- Consistency: by and large articles for substituted tryptamines (4-AcO-DMT, 4-AcO-DPT, etc.) use the new format, not full IUPAC chemical names.
I will be going through the Cleaning up after a move checklist in the coming days. Thanks! Repylom (talk) 01:00, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
