The album drew much attention to Sleaze Metal in [[Sweden]] and as much of the world watch the country as a "whats hot" guide to music, many people around the world picked up on the genre. |

Sleaze Metal is a subgenre of Hard Rock which is the melding of English and American Punk with 1970's Rock such as Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones. An early Sleaze Metal band was Guns N' Roses followed by, Motley Crue, Skid Row and many others. The early Sleaze Metal was a kick back at the bad traits of the Glam Metal genre by having a more "devil could care less" attitude to the look and music but still preserving the showmanship of 80's Rock and the ferocity of Punk.
