The News-Examiner is a weekly newspaper published in Montpelier, Idaho.[1]

History

The newspaper was started in 1895 by Charles Harris as The Montpelier Examiner. The paper merged with the Bear Lake Valley News and became The News-Examiner on Sept. 16, 1937.[2]

SWI News sold the paper to Pioneer News Group in 2007.[3] A decade later the company sold to Adams Publishing Group in 2017.[4]
