The copyright notice for this being unable to be transferred to Wikimedia hinges on the death of Agatha Christie. However, we can assume that she did not do the cover art for the book. And if we can't ascertain who did the work then we would follow the UK's rules on anonymous works. The site also states "Works of unknown authorship are where the identity of the author(s) is unknown, or where it cannot be identified by reasonable enquiry. A work where the author was once known, cannot be later regarded as a work of unknown authorship. 70 years from the end of the year in which it was made. If during that period the work is made available to the public (publication, exhibition, etc.), 70 years from the end of the year in which it was first made available."

I see what you mean. I wasn't experienced at dealing with non-US copyrights when I edited that. However, a cursory search reveals the cover artist was Thomas Derrick, who passed away in 1954. The Quirky Kitty (talk) 19:15, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for finding the cover artist! Seems that this page can be transferred at the start of 2025 then since it’ll have been 70 full years since the author’s death. Also, I’m always trying to improve. What method or sources did you use to find the artist? MonkeyBBGB (talk) 19:23, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
