This slide is inaccurate. Afferents in the lower segments of the medial lemniscus pathway follow the fasciculus gracilis and synapses in the medial nucleaus in the medulla, the nucleus gracilis. Segments C1-T2 synapse on the more lateral nucleus, the nucleaus cuneatus.
