DescriptionWest Bridge in Leicester (geograph 5909539).jpg
English: West Bridge in Leicester. West Bridge is No 3 on the River Soar Navigation, although here it is across a canalised section (Grand Union Canal) built through the city in the late nineteenth century to improve flood control. The original course of the river still flows northwards, about 150 metres to the west (left). The bridge carries the A47 St Augustine Road westbound.
The bridge was opened in 1891, and is Grade II listed.
