Summary

Description
English: Upper tramways An early C19th tramway wraps around the eastern slopes of Mynydd Llangatwg between the furnaces of Nant-y-glo to the south and the limestone quarries of the northern face of this hill. A lower (and later) tramway has since been converted to a road but this upper one remains as a splendid level green footpath. It can be seen here to split into two branches.
