Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61) prepares to dock at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (USA). Ranger, with assigned Carrier Air Group 9 (CVG-9), was deployed to the Western Pacific from 11 August 1961 to 8 March 1962.
