English: The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Burrows (DE-105) underway in the Atlantic Ocean on 3 January 1945, enroute from the Naval Ammunition Depot at Leonardo, New Jersey (USA), to Casco Bay, Portland, Maine (USA), for routine refresher training. She had been undergoing routine repairs and overhaul at the New York Naval Shipyard from 23 to 31 December 1944. The photo was taken from a blimp of Airship Patrol Squadron 11 (ZP-11).
