First flew 2nd April 1940, it was operational with 72sqn during the Battle of Britain.
Saved by the Air Historical Branch in 1944. After storage, and appearing in the background of the 1952 movie ‘Angels One Five’, it joined the Science Museum in 1954. It is on display in the ‘Flight’ Hall wearing genuine 72sqn markings.
