Summary

Description Church of St James, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, England. Designed by Mallinson & Healey, consecrated in 1852. The church contains Romanesque carvings in the vestry wall, and stone carving by Robert Mawer throughout. Showing label stop in form of head on exterior of church. This is a portrait of William Ingle when he was about 24 years old.
