Summary

Description
English: Sprotborough (H&BR) railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1894 by the Hull and Barnsley Railway on their branch from Wrangbrook Junction to Denaby & Conisbrough, this short-lived station closed to passengers in 1903. Goods services lasted until the 1960s. View south west towards Denaby & Conisbrough, and at the surviving station building. Viewed from the road side, the track and two parallel platforms had been to the left of the wooden station building, behind the wooden fencing.
