The copy is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original screenshot. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as artwork on pirate versions or other uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork. |

Other. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as screenshot. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. It is used to show several of the game's features as discussed in the article, such as showing the use of the DS's dual screens, with the game's Activity Window on the top and the animated gameplay on the bottom. The Activity Window currently shows the player's stats from the Headquarters, whilst the bottom shows the game's graphics unchanged from the original MS-DOS game. The image highlights these aspects in a way the article text itself could not describe as intricately, and thus enhances the reader's understanding of the prose. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to relevant concerns and video game marketing to the public. |
