Description
English: Church Santa Maria degli Scalzi Venice. Chapel Manin; Here is buried the last doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin, died on 23 October 1802. The chapel was built by brother Jacopo Antonio Pozzo. The altarpiece shows a sculpture of "The Virgin and Child and St. Joseph in the Clouds" by Giuseppe Torretti, the author of the two angels. On the side walls of the chapel: statues, Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel, from the same Giuseppe Torretto. The two blue glass candelabras are Murano glassworks.
Français : Église Santa Maria degli Scalzi à Venise. Chapelle Mani; ici est enterré le dernier doge de Venise, Ludovico Manin, décédé le 23 Octobre 1802. La chapelle a été construite par le frère Jacopo Antonio Pozzo. Le retable de l'autel montre une sculpture de la Vierge à l'Enfant et saint Joseph dans les nuages par Giuseppe Torretti, qui est l'auteur des deux anges. Sur les parois latérales de la chapelle : statues, Archange Michael et Archange Gabriel, du même Giuseppe Torretto. Les deux candélabres en verre bleu sont des verreries de Murano.
Italiano: Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Scalzi Venezia. Cappella Manin, qui è sepolto l'ultimo doge di Venezia, Ludovico Manin, che morì il 23 ottobre 1802. La cappella fu costruita dal fratello Jacopo Antonio Pozzo. La pala mostra una scultura di Madonna col Bambino e San Giuseppe tra le nuvole di Giuseppe Torretti, che è l'autore di due angeli. Sulle pareti laterali delle statue cappella, Michele e Gabriele, lo stesso Giuseppe Torretto. I due lampadari in vetro blu sono vetrerie di Murano.
