English: The Southern Pacific Railroad's stone fire lookout station on Red Mountain above Cisco, CA, built in 1909. Lookouts were stationed in this location from 1876 until it was abandoned in 1934 to watch for fires in the wooden snowsheds covering the CPRR/SPRR Sierra grade tracks between Blue Cañon and Donner Pass.
