Summary

Description
English: "This master plan was developed by the architectural firm Cram, Goodhue & Ferguson of Boston. It includes a main entrance at the corner closest to downtown Houston, since there was very little in the prairie-like area at the time. Many elements of this master plan have been implemented, such as the overall orientation of the campus on the land, main paths of travel and the placement of some of the buildings. Over time, the university has also made some architectural choices for new buildings which differ from the master plan." (https://scholarship.rice.edu/handle/1911/63443?show=full)
