Summary

Description
English: The 2.5 kW transmitter of Radio Syd operating on 909 kHz. Radio Syd was a Swedish pirate radio station started by Nils-Eric Svensson broadcasting to the Swedish mainland from the Cheeta, a Panamanian-registered ship in international waters off the coast of Sweden, between 1958 and 1966. The transmitter was originally used at the Swedish government shortwave station at Hörby, Sweden.
