Description Praying man (?), China, Gansu or Ningxia (?), 10th/11th century. Height 60 cm, width 50 cm. Fragment of a wall painting. Musée national des arts asiatiques - Guimet, Paris, Inv. no. MA 480. If one accepts that the painting is from Ningxia or Gansu, the man might be a Tangut.
