DescriptionPonies feeding on hay, Furze Hill, New Forest - geograph.org.uk - 170482.jpg
English: Ponies feeding on hay, Furze Hill, New Forest. The ponies in the forest are only semi-wild - they are owned by Commoners who have the right of pasture on the open forest. Their owners will sometimes provide them with extra feed, as is the case in this picture. The ponies are used to curious people approaching them to take photos and this pair insisted on posing for their picture (rather than being candid and continuing to eat).
