English: Overturned syncline exposed on Loma del Pliegue Tumbado, west of El Chaltén, Argentina (The Spanish name for the hill means "hill of the recumbent fold"). Rocks affected are the Lower Cretaceous Rio Mayer Formation. The fold has an easterly vergence and trends roughly south-north. It formed during the Andean orogeny.
