The Olympic stadium, used mainly for track and field. The opening and final ceremony was held there.
Also, IOC president Avery Brundage spoke his famous words "The games must go on" there, after the end of the hostage crisis during which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered by terrorists ("Munich massacre").
In later years, the soccer field was used by the local club FC Bayern München until a new stadium was opened elsewehere. It is still used for national and internatonal track and field contests.

Olympic swim hall, today (2022) still used as a public swimming hall

Olympic Hall, an indoor stadium which today serves as one of the largest concert halls in Munich and also annually hosts the famous bicycle race "Sechstagerennen" (Six days race)

The Olympia Radstadion was a velodrome which hosted the track portion of the cycling competitions during the 1972 Olympics. It was completely demolished in 2015, at the same location a new stadium is about to be built.

A part of the Olympiasee, an artificial lake without a particular function during the Olympics.

Bridge leading to the underground station on the other side of the large, important road "Mittlerer Ring" ("Middle ring route") which it crosses.
