English: Shivering Sands Maunsell Army Fort
Built between 1942-1943 to provide anti-aircraft support for London, was abandoned soon after the War ended. It was in brief occupancy in the mid 1960s when the pirate radio station Radio City used the towers (then linked with gantries) as a base of operations.
