English: Marshall "Major" Taylor Collection, Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites - https://collection.indianamuseum.org/mwebcgi/mweb.exe?request=advanced;_tkeyword=major%20taylor This silver-plated trophy or loving cup features a band of stylized leaves around the rim, an embossed U-shaped wreath on the exterior, and the following engraved within the wreath: "Presented by Mr. de Lancey Ward for the Match, Major Taylor & Jacquelin, May 27th, 1901, Paris." The stylized leaf design trims the foot of the base.
