Português: Lapa do Santo - Sepultamento 14. Foto em duas vistas da extremidade proximal do femur esquerdo que fazia parte do fardo de ossos colocados sobre o crânio do indivíduo adulto que compunha o Sepultamento 14. a) vista posterior e anterior, a seta preta indica a região que aparece em detalhe nas figuras b) e c); b) e c) detalhe da depressão no osso com duas fontes de iluminação distinta, no intuíto de melhor visualizar sua morfologia. Possivelmente, essa depressão pode ser um chanfro resultante do impacto do instrumento utilizado para cortar o osso. Esses ossos humanos foram escavados do sítio arqueológico da Lapa do Santo, na região de Lagoa Santa em Minas Gerais, e representam formas sofisticadas de lidar com os mortos. Datação: entre 10 e 8 mil anos atrás. |
