Description
English: John Bright Memorial Memorial to John Bright who was born in Rochdale and a member of parliament in the 1840s, standing up for progressive causes such as the need to reform Corn Laws.

The statue was moved from its position within the town centre to Braodfield park in the 1930's due to road improvements.
