Summary

Description
English: Simulation of the double-slit experiment with electron - Young interference with two slits.

Data from : Claus Jönsson, Zeitschrift für Physik 161, 454-474 (1961); Claus Jönsson, 1974 Electron diffraction at multiple slits American Journal of Physics 42 4-11;

- Electron wavelength = 5.595pm (E = 45 keV)

- The opening of each slit is 0.2µm. The spacing between the two slits is 1µm (center-to-center).

Figures from left to right;

1: evolution of the electron density (norm of the wave function) from the 2 slits to 10cm after;

2: impacts of electron on the screen 10cm after the slits;

3: electron density 10cm after the slits;

Français : Simulation de l'experience des fentes de Young avec des électrons - figure d'interference à deux fentes

Figures de gauche à droite;

1: évolution de la densité d'un électron (norme de la fonction d'onde) de la sortie des fentes à 10cm après les fentes;

2: impacts des électrons sur un écran 10cm après les fentes;

3: densité d'un électron 10cm après les fentes;
