English: Hurricane Jova of the 2023 Pacific hurricane season, shortly before the sun set upon it. At the time this satellite image was captured it rapidly intensified into a high-end Category 4 major hurricane over the open Pacific Ocean as imaged by the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) aboard NOAA's GOES-16 satellite during the evening of September 6, 2023 (early on September 7 in Coordinated Universal Time).
