Description Hinemihi meeting house at Te Wairoa, after the Mt Tarawera eruption of 10 June 1886. Photograph taken circa 1886 by Edmund Wheeler and Son. Te Wairoa village was destroyed in the 1886 eruption of Mount Tarawera, and this house is now at Clandon Park in England. See Image:MaoriMeetingHouse-ClandonPark.JPG. The name of the house in full is Hinemihi o te Ao Tawhito (Hinemihi of the ancient world).
