IWM caption : "Crew members aboard the destroyer HMS VANITY manning the 0.5 inch Vickers water-cooled machine gun in quadruple Mark III mounting".


Comment : note how ammunition drums for top and third gun are on right, drums for second and bottom gun are on left.
