Description

Whyalla, South Australia. HMAS PIRIE (B249) leaving Whyalla. In the background are cranes used for fitting out ships and on the distant hillside is the small town of Whyalla.


HMAS Pirie was sold to Turkey in 1946 and became TCG Amasra.
