This is the LAST GERMAN MARKS COIN, and it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the German Constitutional Court at Karlsruhe, an integral part of the German democracy. 

D = 33 mm, Weight 15.52 g.

German Eagle, around: "· BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND · date · 10 DEUTSCHE MARK · mint mark ·"/ 8 Judgesin a row one behind the other are holding a book with the title "GRUNDGESETZ" (= CONSTITUTION),and scales. In the background 4 curved lines: "DIE WÜRDE DES MENSCHEN IST UNANTASTBAR · SIE ZU SCHÜTZEN IST DIE VERPFLICHTUNG ALLER STAATLICHEN GEWALT DAS DEUTSCHE VOLK BEKENNT SICH DARUM ZU UNVERLETZLICHEN UND UNVERÄUSSERLICHEN MENSCHENRECHTEN ALS GRUNDLAGE JEDER MENSCHLICHEN GEMEINSCHAFT DES FRIEDENS UND DER GERECHTIGKEIT IN DER WELT". A declaration of the Human Rights as basis of the German Constitution. Edge lettering : "IM NAMEN DES VOLKES". KM 206.
