Summary

Description
English: Watercolour painting on paper of the four headed sun god, Sūrya. The god has orange skin and rides on a chariot pulled by fourteen white horses. Each horse has a red saddle. The driver of the chariot is shown pale skinned and wearing a crown. He holds a whip in his right hand and the reins of the horse in his left. Sūrya is seated on a lotus which is placed on the golden seat of the chariot. He has four arms, his lower left hand holds the mace over his shoulder and his upper left hand holds the lotus flower. In his right hand he holds the discus and conch. From behind Sūrya emerge numerous golden rays and his chariot is shown flying through the sky. The painting is surrounded by a thin black border.
