English: Former Railway Station, Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The last passenger train to serve Hornsea Town ran in October 1964 - a victim of the Beeching era closure programme; the branch to Withernsea closed on the same date. Since then the rather impressive station building has been restored for residential use; however, the appearance is somewhat altered because when in use the station had a canopy covering the platform and extending over the track.
