Description
English: Nosecone of an F-16 after it hit a greylag goose in February 1994 above the Biesbosch. The collision occurred at an altitude of 500 meters and rendered the radar unusable, but the pilot was able to make a safe visual landing. The material bounced back after the collision but hit the radar, that's why the damage does not look bad now. It is made of fiberglass and plastics. Photo was made at the KLu Open Dagen 2007.
