Summary

Description Two U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcats of Fighter Squadron 1 (VF-1) "Wolfpack" in flight out of Naval Air Station Miramar, California (USA). VF-1 and VF-2 were established on 14 October 1972 as the first operational U.S. Navy Tomcat-squadrons. Both squadrons were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN-65) from 1974 to 1978.
