En el cantón diestro del jefe florecerá una rosa[...]. Esta rosa ha de ir en campo de sinople[...]. En el cantón de la siniestra lucirá una espada de plata[...]; y esta espada que ha de ser desnuda, ha de brillar en el campo de gules[...]. El primer cuartel de abajo mostrará dos llaves, sable la del color que dicen armería guarda y poderío, llaves que habrán de ir en campo de oro[...]. En el arte del blasón, el roble[...]. Este simbólico árbol ha de ir en el postrero[...]. El roble, esmaltado de sinople, irá en campo de Plata[...]. [...] por orla unas letras latinas en el campo de blao que digan: "MONTANI SEMPER LIBERI (SIEMPRE LIBRES EN NUESTRAS MONTAÑAS). Y por timbre un yelmo acerado, con su mirada hacia la diestra, perfilado y abierto con el burelete de oro y blao. Por divisa un león naciente, oro su color, empuñando una Bandera de Colombia de Colombia con todos sus esmaltes. Todos estos decorados de trascoles, follajes y dependencias de oro y blao.
