Prestwick is the only place in the United Kingdom visited by 'The King of Rock and Roll'. Sergeant Presley was greeted by screaming fans on 3 March 1960 when his aircraft stopped to refuel.
Unveiled here on 26th September 2007 by Stewart Stevenson MSP, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change.
