English: Plaque commemorating Edward Williams (aka Iolo Morganwg, 1747–1826) in Cowbridge, Wales. Erected in 1926 by the Eastern and Mid Glamorgan Sections of the National Union of Welsh Societies, on the centenary of Williams' death, at the site where he ran a book shop in Cowbridge. Text in Welsh reads: "Er Cof am Edward Williams (Iolo Morganwg), 1747–1826, Saer Maen Bardd Rhyddid, Hynafiaethydd, ac un o Gymwynawyr Mwyaf Llên a Hanes Cymru. Y Maen hwn a osodwyd yma gan Adrannau Dwyrain a Chanolbarth Morgannwg o Undeb Cenedlaethol y Cymdeithasau Cymraeg, ben can'mlynedd ei farw ar yr 17fed o Ragfyr 1826 i nodi'r Tŷ y bu Iolo Morganwg yn owerthu Llyfrau ynddo."
