Description

Castelo de San Xurxo, O Pindo, Galicia. No século X Sisnando (bispo de Iria Flavia) ordenou a construción do Castelo de San Xurxo nas beiras do monte Pindo, para protexer estas terras dos continuos ataques dos piratas medievais. Diversas familias nobres de Galiza habitárono ata que o castelo foi destruido no ano 1467 nas Revoltas Irmandiñas. Dise que fai cincuenta anos aínda se podían ver parte dos seus muros, desfeitos polos buscadores de tesouros
