DescriptionBrowsholme Hall - geograph.org.uk - 829290.jpg
English: Browsholme Hall, near to Bashall Eaves, Lancashire, Great Britain.
This glorious 16th-century house has been the home of the Parker family ever since it was first built in 1507. It remains a private home, though is occasionally open to the public.
The current owner, Robert Parker, inherited the property in the 1980s from a relative (his first cousin four times removed), whose will made it clear that the house should go to someone bearing the surname Parker, so disinheriting his sisters and their offspring.
