Summary

Description Reconstructed lean-to at the long hunter camp demonstration area at Bledsoe's Fort Historic Park in Sumner County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The first long hunters arrived in this area in the 1770s, and chose this area for a campsite to take advantage of a nearby spring. A salt lick in the vicinity drew large buffalo herds to the area.
