Nederlands: Preekstoel in St.-Carolus Borromeuskerk van de hand van Jan Pieter van Baurscheidt de Oudere. Hij stelt de katholieke Kerk voor die triomfeert over de draak [=ketterij] van de Reformatie. Op de kuip en het klankbord staan twaalf taferelen uit het leven van de H. Maagd Maria.
English: Pulpit (1718-1721) in Saint Carolus Borromeus church by Jan Pieter van Baurscheidt de Oudere. It represents the triumph of the Roman-Catholic Church over the dragon [=hereticism] of the Reformation. On the pulpit and the sounding board twelve scens from the life of the Virgin Mary are to be seen.
