English: Adult male Anasaitis canosa, southern Greenville County SC USA, scale bar = 1.0 mm, iridescent scales are spatulate and detailed in design, in multiple colors from clear to heavily pigmented. The brightest iridescent scales are the white ones on the pedipalps, not always evident in photographs as other white scales that are not iridescent can look just as bright. These are rotated in circles by the spider as it moves.
